The scholarship covers:

• Full tuition 
• Monthly allowance
• Round-trip flight between Japan and your home country

All application procedures for MEXT Scholarships are conducted through Japanese embassies or consulates outside of Japan or institutions of higher education in Japan. If you require any further information regarding MEXT Scholarships – Embassy Recommendation, please contact a Japanese embassy or consulate in your country directly.

Important Notice:
If you pass the first screening of MEXT scholarship at an embassy or consulate of Japan and wish to apply for any graduate programs at Toho University, please contact the Office of Graduate Admissions immediately. It will take time before we decide whether to offer you a provisional acceptance and the decision may not be made by the deadline designated by MEXT.
