Inbound and outbound non-degree seeking exchanges canceled for AY2021

April 12, 2021
Dear Visiting Students,

In light of the outbreak of COVID-19 across the globe, Toho University has decided to extend the suspension of its short-term student programs, which have been suspended since the spring of 2020, until March 2022. This includes all programs planned based on the exchange agreement with Toho University Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Faculty of Science, Faculty of Nursing, and Faculty of Health Science, as well as clinical practice programs at our affiliated hospitals.

Degree-seeking international students are allowed to come to Japan and attend classes upon obtaining the appropriate visa and complying with the guidelines for border measures set by the Japanese government. Please note that the issuance of visas at Japanese embassies and consulates abroad and the Japanese government’s border measures for those entering Japan are subject to change at any time. Please make sure to check the latest information.

Sincerely,
Kazuhiro Tateda
Director
