The delegation of University of Hawaii Maui College visited Narashino Campus

Prof. Debra Nakama, Vice Chancellor, University of Hawaii Maui College (UHMC), Ms. Stephanie Ohigashi, Director of Office of International & Regional Partnerships at UHMC, and, Mr. Troy Hashimoto, State Representative of State of Hawaii, visited Narashino Campus on May 22, 2019. Their day on Narashino campus started with hula dance performed by Toho students, followed by the meeting with Prof. Ken Takamatsu, President of Toho University, Prof. Toshiaki Furuta, Dean of the Faculty of Science, Prof. Kenji Okoshi, Director of International Communication Center at the Faculty of Science. The faculty members of the Department of Environmental Sciences also joined the meeting.

Toho University and University of Hawaii Maui College have reached an agreement to establish a partnership by summer 2019. Toho University Faculty of Science is planning to send a group of its students to Maui for one-week summer program this September.
