App installation awareness poster for students
Toho University Narashino Campus has recently introduced a sensor and system to collectively check the ventilation status of classrooms in order to strengthen measures against the new coronavirus infection on campus. This system is the “3Cs visualization solution” provided by Asahi Kasei Corporation, which is a service to check the ventilation status using CO2 sensors. The system allows the management department to collectively check information on the CO2 concentration, temperature, and humidity of each classroom, and also allows students, faculty, and staff to check the CO2 concentration of the location in real time from their smartphones and other devices using an installed application. This time, the system was installed in Buildings III, IV, and V of the Faculty of Science at Narashino Campus. The data obtained will be accumulated and utilized for the development of further infection prevention measures.
