Online Student Exchange Program Hosted by Chiang Mai University Faculty of Nursing, Thailand

On June 29, 2020, 28 students and faculty members from Toho University participated in the online international exchange program “New Life in New Normal in COVID-19 (New Lifestyle with New Coronavirus)” hosted by the Faculty of Nursing, Chiang Mai University (Thailand). Approximately 270 people from 13 universities in Asia, including Toho University, participated in the program.

Toho University has suspended sending students abroad and accepting foreign trainees in order to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus infection, but through this online international exchange program, the participating students felt that they were members of an international society and understood the need to work together on international issues beyond national borders. Three students from Toho university gave presentations as representatives on the changes in lifestyle and awareness brought about by the new coronavirus infection.
